Biography |
Catherine Amelia Greeniaus was born on April 30, 1834. She was the youngest child of Peter Johann Greeniaus and Elizabeth Ann Oliphant. Sadly, Catherine Amelia died on October 15, 1859 at 25 years old. The cause of death is unknown. Catherine Amelia may have passed away from an illness which allowed the family time to prepare a mourning hairwreath in September of 1958. After her death, Catherine Amelia's sister Jane Amanda Greeniaus named her daughter after her sister. Jane's daughter was named Catherine Amelia Elizabeth Freeman. It is clear that Catherine Amelia knew Jane's husband as he gifted her a bible in 1850. |
