Biography |
Ethel Irene Hamilton was born on April 27, 1885, in Streetsville, Ontario. She was the daughter of John Hamilton and his first wife, Rebecca Ann Cordingley. Ethel was 12 years old when her mother passed away in 1897. As a child Ethel attended S.S. No. 17 School in Toronto Township, historic Mississauga. She married Norman Pomeroy Greeniaus on March 12, 1913, in Toronto Township, Ontario. They had four children during their marriage: Munas H Greemans (1914-?), Murray Hamilton Greeniaus (1914-1992), Wilmer Kenney Greeniaus (1918-2006), and Phillip K Greemans (1919-?). She died on May 5, 1962, in Peel, Ontario, at the age of 77, and was buried in Mississauga, Ontario. |
