Biography	Wilmer Ansel Hamilton was born on October 8, 1888, in Halton, Ontario. He was the son of George Alexander Hamilton and Eliza Jane Watson. The family lived neaby Concession 6, Lot 10 WHS, roughly at Derry and Glen Erin Roads in the historic village Lisgar (now part of Mississauga). Wilmer attended S.S. #17, Eden School, as a child before becoming a farmer. He married Veva Jean Irene Miller on January 12, 1921, in Peel, Ontario. They had two children during their marriage and lived in Streetsville throughout their life. He died on December 22, 1978, at the age of 90 while in Florida, USA.
