A colour photograph of the Camp Wyoka gates. There is two tall poles that have a sign made out of wood attached to them that say "Camp Wyoka" in front of a road and some trees. |
History |
Camp Wyoka's name is derived from the name of the Area that founded it, the White Oaks Area. The White Oaks Area included the all of the Girl Guides in Peel and Halton counties, excluding Burlington. Camp Wyoka opened in 1965; Carlyle Lodge, a building on the property, was completed in 1963, and York House was completed in 1973. Camp Wyoka was located somewhere near Clifford, Ontario. Camp Wyoka closed on October 31, 2018. |
