Biography	Mary Helena Hamilton (nee Cook) was born on March 13, 1887, in York, Ontario. Known as "Lena" to the family, she was the daughter of John Cook and Mary Agnes Miller. As a child, she attended S.S. #17 School in Toronto Township, historic Mississauga. The school was located at 2285 Derry Rd West. Her future husband was a schoolmate of hers at S.S. #17, they were in the same classes as kids. She married Garnet Charles William Cecil Hamilton on June 25, 1913, in Peel, Ontario. They had one child during their marriage. She died on January 22, 1976, at the age of 88, and was buried in Streetsville, Ontario.
